All the members have the same right and obligations, privileges and duties except that the associate members, the honorary members and the student shall have neither the right to vote nor shall they seek election for any post of the Executive Committee of the Society. Only the ordinary members and life members are eligible for voting and seeking election.

• All regular BSHS members whose membership is, and will remain, active between January 1 and December 31 of a given year are eligible to run for BSHS elected office in  election.
• All regular BSHS members whose membership is, and will remain, active between April 1 and June 1 of a given year can vote in that year’s election.
• As an BSHS member, you are eligible to apply for an BSHS editorship and to serve on an BSHS journal editorial board.
